Below are the other social program events at IMS which consist primarily of a number of receptions for our attendees, some with a focus on those with specialized interests. Details are either listed below or can be obtained in the IMS2011 Program Book.

Monday:

• MTT-S Welcome Reception: A reception for all IMS attendees will be held Monday evening. The exact time and venue will be announced.

Tuesday:

• Ham Radio Social: The Ham Radio Social event will be held on Tuesday evening. This event will take place between 1800 and 2100 in Key Ballroom 12 at the Hilton Hotel.
• Women in Microwaves Reception (WIM): The IEEE WIM reception aims to bring together the women who work in the field of microwave engineering. The WIM reception will take place between 1900 PM and 2100 at the Hilton Lobby Bar.
• Student and GOLD Receptions: A combined reception for students and GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) members will be held on Tuessday evening. This combined event will take place between 1740 and 1920 at the Baltimore Hard Rock Café.

Wednesday:

• Industry Hosted Cocktail Reception: 1715 to 1800 Wednesday in the Exhibition Area Halls B-G. A great opportunity to kick back, talk to friends and colleagues, and browse the exhibition floor.
• MTT-S IMS Awards Banquet: This is the main banquet for the IMS, held in the Hilton Key Ballroom 7-12 from 1820 to 2200. It includes presentations of awards and entertainment.

Thursday:

• Crab Feast: The Crab Feast is at the USS Constellation, a historic 19th century warship, and adjoining pier, starting at 1800.
• MTT-S Student Awards Luncheon will be held from 1200 until 1400 in the Hilton Hotel Holiday Ballroom 6. This luncheon recognizes recipients of the MTT-S undergraduate scholarships, MTT-S graduate fellowships, student volunteers, student paper awards, and the winners and participants in the student design competitions.
