Crab Feast
The Crab Feast is what defines an IMS in Baltimore.
Years from now you will have trouble remembering whether that one great paper was presented in Anaheim, Baltimore, or Montreal - but you will have no trouble remembering
the Crab Feast in Baltimore. Old-timers (to which the 2011 General Chair must admit membership) remember that Baltimore
always has a Crab Feast.
In fact, when proposing Baltimore to host IMS2011, the 2011 General Chair bribed the MTT-S AdCom with the promise of another Crab Feast. Need I say more?

You do not want to miss this event on Thursday evening!
In addition to the crabs there is live entertainment to enjoy. |
The Crab Feast will be held at the USS Constellation, a historic 19th century warship, and adjoining pier on Thursday evening, 9 June 2011, starting at 1800. This is just two blocks east of the eastern end of the Baltimore Convention Center (see the map below).
The admission cost includes a traditional crab feast menu (details below) including beer, wine and soft drinks, and enterainment by local Chesapeake Bay favorite Pat O'Brennan.
Space is limited so buy your tickets early! If you have already registered and would like to add Crab feast tickets, then you need to modify your registration.
